Our Hammocks provide the maximum relaxation,so let the fine swinging motion and everlasting floating midair begin
The
climb up from the North Fork River was long and
difficult, but the views from Bald Knob and Mt.
Dodson were worth it. With millions of trees to
choose from, finding a campsite is easy and my
hammock goes up quickly.
Even
though the trail is seldom used, I choose a site
well away from the path. The hammock hangs above
rocks on the rugged ridge top and I have an unparalleled
view of the North Cove valley to the west. I fix
my dinner on the rocks and retire to the hammock
to watch the setting sun. The nearest tent campsite
is miles away.
Although sizes smaller than these are common to
many hammocks, they generally compromise comfort
and safety.
The eight-by-five foot hammock design in this
website is sized for my six-foot tall, 170-pound
body. Undoubtedly, this is sufficient for many
people; however. the design can easily be adjusted
to accommodate shorter, taller, lighter, or heavier
folks with little or no additional work or cost.
Thus the hammock can be customized to users' specific
requirements; everything you need is clearly explained
in websection, "How To Make Your Own Hammock."
